Scaling and polishing teeth is a routine part of our dental program. Our hospital pursues advances in veterinary dentistry as follows:

    • Digital dental radiographs that allow us to see any problems below the gum line and further assess the root structure of the tooth
    • Air-driven dental equipment to polish healthy teeth to a smooth surface after scaling 
    • Air-driven drills to facilitate smooth and complete extraction of diseased teeth
    • Utilization of appropriate pain control during and after each procedure
    • Utilization of appropriate dental products during and after the dental procedure to keep the mouth healthy
