Greendale Village Vet is a full-service diagnostic facility designed to provide comprehensive, accurate information on the status of your pet’s health.

Our inventory of in-house diagnostic equipment is quite complete, making the rational selection of diagnostic tests, the appropriate interpretation of the test results with clinical findings, and the institution of effective medical and surgical therapy possible in a very timely manner. Whenever further interpretation and consultation is needed, our reference laboratory capabilities can give us access to specialists in different fields.

Diagnostic Systems

We have state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment: EKG (in-house and transtelephonic), blood pressure (diagnostic and anesthetic monitoring), pulse oximetry (continuous and diagnostic) and tonometer (to measure eye pressures to detect glaucoma or uveitis). Read More

Radiology

We use direct digital radiography (x-ray) in which crystal-clear images are displayed approximately 4 seconds after exposure. Radiographs can easily be downloaded to a CD for our clients and also easily sent by using internet telemedicine to board-certified radiologists for further interpretation if needed. Read More

Laboratory

We offer a full in-house laboratory to provide same day results for CBCs, chemistries, electrolytes, blood gases, cortisol and thyroid levels. We also offer bacterial culture and sensitivities, and fungal cultures. Our lab also includes a microscope for in-house cytology of blood and fluid. Read More
